Hummus

Hummus helps meet the need for amino acids, folic acid, vitamins E, B6, B1, B3 and C. The protein content of chickpeas is around twenty per cent. The pea paste is not necessarily low in calories, but it satiates. The high iron content is also positive. Especially for vegan and vegetarian people. Hummus is also rich in fibre, which in turn can have a positive effect on blood sugar.

Taking care of the body’s purification system

Kidneys need warmth. It is not without reason that motorcyclists, for example, wear a kidney belt. It is advisable to protect the kidney area in summer and winter. Vests are an issue. Sleeping naked is generally a problem because you don't notice when and where your body gets cold. Tying a light jumper around your waist in rooms with air-conditioning is advisable. Even in summer and refrain from consuming drinks from the fridge.

Lavender Indoors

After travelling in the Mediterranean, one usually remembers the warm, sunny, dry climate. You also think of beautiful flowering lavender fields. Only some have a garden. But could lavender also thrive indoors in colder latitudes? Not all lavender plants are suitable for pots in the living room. Yet, some varieties are ideal for indoor use. These are so-called "dwarf lavender plants" such as "Goodwin Creek Grey" and "Munstead". A good choice is also "Little Lottie ", with fine pink flower tips. The French variety "Lavandula dentata" is also suitable as a pot plant.

Work, movement and health in harmony

It can be worthwhile to make notes every day. What should the focus be on within the current week or month? Where do you want to be in a year, in five years? What is the vision, passion, and mission? Who do you want to be, and what do you want to achieve? How could you combine and develop strengths, and how could you even use personal weaknesses to your advantage? Write down, describe and write to others. Leave no questions, messages or feedback unanswered, even if the stakeholders could not be more different. Independence requires a lot of control work.

Brand, Label and Guarantee

Progressive supermarkets focus on the welfare of consumers and not on selling as many products as possible. But consumers can also make a big difference by using advances in digitalisation. Self-monitoring via apps, for example. Nevertheless, health apps with targeted information on smart shopping still need to be expanded or more present. This is not a matter of coincidence; much more of entrenched structures. We are still a long way from making life-affirming investments - in other words, investing the Swiss franc in a more economically and socially beneficial manner.

Simplify structures – recognise weaknesses – use strengths

Who doesn't wish for more time for essential things in life? Often, less is more amid luxury and general overkill of an unhealthy affluent society. Thus, the flexibilisation of work has balancing and social elements. This flexibilisation could be designed liberally, something that entrenched governing bodies too rarely sees in this way. Thus, as mentioned several times, the diversity of competing opinions would have to be targeted to generate genuinely viable solutions. If existing structures and wage systems are adhered to, constructive solutions to problems become a distant prospect. Diverse stakeholders are often set against each other even more, substantially endangering society.

“Renaissance” of the pea (Pisum Sativum)

Pea cultivation has been documented for thousands of years before Christ - initially in Asia. In the Roman Empire, among the Greeks and the Germanic tribes, peas were a staple food. The protein-rich legume reached Europe via Greece and Turkey. Freshly harvested peas were only kept for a short time and were mainly dried until the 17th century.

Conversion from traditional agriculture and its processes to vegan, highly mechanised and automated agriculture could be achieved in a few years.

The degree of self-sufficiency in vegan agriculture can be increased considerably. Especially in German-speaking countries, i.e. in the middle of these latitudes, more water is available than in many other regions. Countries with abundant water resources could produce a lot of food on relatively little land within a reasonable period. This would also open up new opportunities for industry, IT and the ICT sector.

Healthy and Sustainable

Mindfulness, awareness, and rethinking habits are the themes. Start again and again with simple basics. "Give yourself a pat on the back sometimes!" - so you never stop learning, also with nutrition. Fasting in everyday life is a matter of practice because the implementation is not problem-free for everyone, but rather a matter of course that can become a habit. Fasting can be supplemented with "interval training". Growth hormone effects, BDNF can be significantly increased. Regenerative effects are documented and proven as well as cognitive abilities increase.

Asparagus with Frowner’s Guacamole and Tofu Oven Biscuits

White and green asparagus contain 90 per cent water, proteins, a few carbohydrates and fats, and only 150 calories per kilogram. Nevertheless, the vegetable is not lacking in minerals such as potassium, which has a correspondingly positive effect on the nervous system and blood pressure. Remember the considerable amount of calcium and phosphorus. Eating asparagus stimulates kidney activity and therefore has a diuretic effect. However, anyone with kidney problems should avoid asparagus.

Ginger (Zingiber officinale) – ancient medicinal plant

Like no other root, ginger can suppress nausea (travel and seasickness). The essential oils of the root have an antibacterial and antiviral effect, making it an effective remedy for flu-like infections. Ginger can counteract stomach irritation and gastritis by regulating the mucus layer and stomach acid. Depending on the origin of the ginger, differences in quality and composition or concentration of various ingredients must be considered.
